Postage and delivery

We ship products all over the UK and across Europe. If you don’t see a shipping option suitable for you, just contact us at ecozoom.uk@btinternet.com and we’ll let you know how much it will be.

Goods will be delivered to the address specified as Delivery Address when ordering. Customers are responsible for giving SLiCK the correct address details, including special delivery instructions / directions.

SLiCK  or the delivery company used cannot take any responsibility for goods left in accordance with special delivery instructions provided for delivery if no-one is present at the delivery address.

The customer undertakes to ensure the goods can be signed at the point of delivery (otherwise see note on Returned products below).

All our product pages include shipping and packing charges, so you know exactly how much products cost before ordering.  No further postage calculations are made at checkout.

Dispatch and delivery times

Delivery is normally within a 3-5 working days of our receipt of your order, unless otherwise specified. If you need something by a particular date please send us an email and we will try our best to achieve this for you.

Our stoves are usually delivered by courier.

Returned products

If delivery fails for any reason not the fault of SLiCK  or the delivery company (for example customer not available at address to receive items requiring signature; undelivered products not collected from the depot within time frame; special instructions inadequate etc.) then products will usually be returned to SLiCK . In this instance SLiCK  will either:

– redispatch the product upon receipt of payment for redispatch costs plus a £5.50 handling fee; or

– issue a refund for the item less a postage & packaging surcharge for the failed delivery plus a £5.50 handling fee.

Discounts on multiple items

Many of our products are sent out individually so unless you are ordering a significant number, postage remains the same. If you think your order should benefit from a volume discount, contact us and we will always consider it.

Carbon monoxide warning and fire safety

By placing an order with SLiCK  the customer verifies that he/she understands that as with any solid-fuel stove, wood and/or charcoal-fired cooking stoves can generate carbon monoxide which is an invisible, odourless gas which can be lethal, and therefore that cookstoves should only be used in well-ventilated outdoor areas and never in buildings, tents, caravans or other enclosed areas. It is the users responsibility to ensure that indoor La Mera Mera/La Plancha use is carried out safely and that installation has been completed, tested and commissioned by an installer experienced in flue installation. SLiCK  cannot be held responsible for inadequate/leaky installation of the flue.  The customer also understands that as with any naked flame, charcoal and/or wood stoves can present a fire risk to nearby buildings, tents, caravans, trees and vegetation, and that extreme caution and supervision is required at all times. SLiCK can accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury resulting from the use of any product sold by this website. Use is at the customer’s risk.

Solar Cookers

Your use of a solar cooker must be in strict accordance with the attached instructions. High temperatures are generated, and the user must take full responsibility for safe use of the device. This concept is new, and the user must make themselves familiar with the controlled use of concentrated sunlight in a solar cooker. By ordering from us you accept your liability for using this device and will take full responsibility for any use by third parties who may not fully appreciate the power available.

Packaging

Where possible we use recycled / re-used packaging and cellulose packing tape as part of our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of our business.

Returns & cancellation policy

In case you are not satisfied with any product, or wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, we offer a money back guarantee for products returned to us:

– in their original packaging;

– in a brand-new, unused, saleable condition;

– within 14 days of purchase.

Return delivery costs must be born by the customer and we request customers contact us to confirm the address to which you need to return items. Unfortunately used goods cannot be returned.

SLiCK  can advise on courier / postal returns.

SLiCK  reserve the right to inspect the returned item prior to issue of refund note.

Faulty / incorrect product returns

You must open and check the item upon receipt, and notify us immediately if you think that the product is faulty or transit damaged. 

If a product is replaced due to reported faulty and/or incorrect product dispatch, SLiCK will bear the cost of returning the product. However, if the product is subsequently found to be in perfect condition and/or be the correct product, the customer agrees to pay the carriage costs incurred for the return and redelivery of items plus a £5.50 handling fee, irrespective of P&P charged on the original item, if any.

Warranty

If you receive incorrect, damaged or faulty goods please contact us immediately. SLiCK  will replace goods with manufacturing faults, which have not been damaged by misuse, within 1 year of receipt of the product by the customer. If replacement goods are not available, SLiCK  will issue a refund. SLiCK  reserve the right to inspect the returned item prior to issue of refund note.Payment and applicable law

Transactions are accepted only in UK Pounds. UK Law shall govern this contract and any dispute under it.

Description & price

The description and the price of the goods you order will be shown on SLiCK ‘s current website at the time you place your order. All drawings, descriptive matter, specifications contained on SLiCK ‘s website are published or issued for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them. They will not form part of this contract.

The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available from stock, SLiCK  will inform you as soon as possible, and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on SLiCK ‘s website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is discovered SLiCK  will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If you choose to cancel, SLiCK will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

No contract exists between you and SLiCK  for the sale of any goods until SLiCK  has received and accepted your order and sends you confirmation in writing or by email to the email address you have given. The contract is subject to your right of cancellation and SLiCK  reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any individual or company at its absolute discretion.

Limit of liability

SLiCK  accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury resulting from the use of any product sold from this website. Use is at consumer’s risk. Knowledge of and adherence to local laws and/or statutes is the responsibility of the consumer. SLiCK and other agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage including loss of profit or any other form of compensation. SLiCK  may change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.

Privacy Notice

Your details will not be distributed, sold, rented, traded or used for any other purpose unless required to do so by law.

We do not store credit card details.

We reserve the right to amend this notice. Any changes will be posted on the web site and become effective immediately.

Acceptance of the above terms and conditions is confirmed by placing your order with us.
